Bryce Vinnicombe began studying ballet as a child growing up in Johannesburg, South Africa, where she also studied classical piano and fine arts. She then studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of Ballet and went on to earn her BA in Studio Art from Indiana University. Bryce danced with Indiana Dance Theatre before moving to San Francisco in 2006. She apprenticed for Push Dance Company in 2006 and became a member that same year.
