David Herrera attended the University of California, Santa Cruz where he received a B.A. in American Studies and Theater Arts in 2001 and post-graduate degree in modern dance and theater in 2002. He had the pleasure of working with Mel Wong and in 2001 created the David Herrera Performance Co., producing work for several seasons. He moved to Los Angeles in 2002 where he continued his interest in Meisner Acting Technique under the guide of William "Bill" Alderson. He has worked with Nannette Brody Dance Theater in Long Beach, CA. Currently he lives in San Francisco where he once again creates work under D.H.P.Co. He is thankful for all the talented artists he has had the opportunity to work. David joined Push Dance Company in 2007. |
