Tell us a little bit about your dance background.
My movement stemmed from my love of my Greek culture and participating in Greek dance as a child and young adult. As a result, in my mid 20’s, searching for other styles, I discovered modern dance. I pursued a degree in dance, graduating from CSU Fullerton with my B.A. in Dance and from Saint Mary’s College with my M.F.A. in Dance.

What are the major sources of inspiration for your choreography? What are you curious about?
the dark part of our existence… the connection to one another… the things we don’t want to talk about…

What does your work respond to or activate, within this world or within yourself?
My work is always a way for me to heal what’s within my world.

What advice would you pass on to an aspiring choreographer?
don’t judge it, don’t ever judge it.
