Description

Point Shipyard Project is a performance installation performed onsite or within the proscenium stage. Young residents of the predominantly African American district of Bayview Hunters Point, San Francisco add their untold stories as part of the sound score. The personal histories reveals clues into the lives and futures of young residents effected by Naval Shipyard’s redevelopment and reintroduction into the neighboring area.
