Tell us a little bit about your dance background.
Dance was passed down to me by my parents who seized all opportunities to move with the beat. I danced before I could walk and held myself up to bounce along to the vibration. Since then, I’ve learned how to tell a story using movement, fashion, and music. We all hold identities that make us beautiful. The one that connects us all is that of human. We are one. I dance as one and perform for all.

What can audiences look forward to seeing in your work at PUSHfest?
Audiences can expect an experience full of emotion, energy, and an effervescent story told through movement, fashion, and music.

What are the major sources of inspiration for your choreography?
I am inspired by the movement of beings, plants, Old Bollywood, and the divine energy that flows through all of us.

If you hadn’t chosen this career, what might you have been doing in your life?
Not breathing properly.

What advice would you pass on to an aspiring choreographer?
Please keep creating. Your talent matters. The struggle that you will go through will be the water that will help your garden blossom with love. Honor it, breathe into it, and receive it with grace. Your movement is the language of your soul, so let it out.
