Algin Aligns | A visionary artist whose multidisciplinary practice lives at the crossroads of music, movement, film, and cultural activism. Emerging from the vibrant lineage of San Francisco’s Fillmore, their practice stretches across genres and communities, carrying an unmistakable call toward collective healing and change. A Theater Arts & Dance graduate from CSUEB and the co-founder of UFO Movement, a groundbreaking dance company / creative hub in the Bay Area for 5 years, built before expanding to New York for 11 years. Align’s recent performances include The MoAD, The MoMA, BAAD Theater NY, The Guggenheim and The Joyce Theater in NYC with company Les Ballet Afrik, where he was both dancer and Musical Director and performing with Bill T. Jones at the Armory Theater.  He has trained extensively in Modern Dance, Contemporary, Hip-Hop, West African, Afrobeat, House, Waacking and Vogue. Align is a DJ, dancer, producer, filmmaker and curator.
