Raissa Simpson’s PUSH Dance Company is a boundary pushing dance company featuring their dance + technology repertory inspired by social change.
PUSH will present an excerpt of her latest dance piece “Technoculture,” presented as a part of Dance Managers Collective. The dance piece incorporates robotic technology and explores themes of Black futurism that poetically depicts the tension between how humanity’s visceral stages of intimacy collide with technological advancements.
You’re invited to our Black Choreographers Festival performances on 2/28/26-3/01/26 at Dance Mission Theater. If you’re in the Merced area, check for update on our performance at UC Merced in April 2026.
