Hip Hop Artists Residency & Training
2024 Showcase
5pm & 8pm on Mar 23 \\ Ruth Williams Opera House
The Hip Hop Artist Residency & Training program (HART) program is a 4-month residency that provides training and performance opportunities to Black SF/Bay Area resident artists with aspirations to build a career in Hip Hop and performing arts addressing racial and social justice. The program culminates in a HART showcase of the artist’s original works as soloists and collaborators. This year’s cohort is majority women and its truly exciting to celebrate Black women in hip hop who are actively making history in their own rite!
There will be two showings of this performance 5pm & 8pm.
This event is FREE and ticket registration can be completed at pushdance.org/hart
